BROOKE FLEENOR
Well, hello! Welcome to my little corner of the world.
Wild Ginger, as crazy as it sounds, was never a part of my plans. Up until opening, I was working an administrative role but looking for a change. The opportunity to run, and then own, Wild Ginger, found me in a way. And I wouldn’t change a thing.
I love coming to work. I love the atmosphere of The Market and my fellow business owners here. My team is a dream. What’s not to love?
My MUSTS for visiting St. Joe:Silver Beach, anywhere with a rooftop deck for cocktails or dinner (we have many!), shopping the main drag, and in the summertime, strolling the Farmer’s Market downtown.

THE MARKET
In the beginning, this beautiful old building was an old Packard car dealership. After shutting down production, the dealership became a toy store. From there, it was sold to be a storage facility for a local bank where in time, it was vacated and left empty for many years.
Rick and Deb, the owners and founders of The Market, stumbled upon the space when they started looking for a new location for their booming business, The Cheese Lady.
After discovering the massive, empty building, much bigger than they needed, the two of them decided to create a community space for entrepreneurs to come together, each running their own “corners”, to form what is now The Market.
